Ch. XVI RW
Netami Vs. Ambuneko Night


Netami jumps through the trees and suddenly stops. "Well look who finally stopped running." He says. There is no reply. "Ah. So you're the silent type. Lets make this fun shall we?" Netami then runs towards Ambuneko and puts his hand on her stomach. "Five pronged seal." He yells but nothing happens.

"You shouldn't run at your enemy so early in a battle." She says as she pushes Netami back. "I am Night, thats what you call me okay?" Night says as she starts to glow.

'This is going to be harder than i though.' Netami says in his head.

"Don't worry. I don't plan on killing you unless i have to. I just plan on stalling you as long as possible." Night explains.

"You seem strong, calm, and smart, but entirely too confident. You would be a great addition to the Demon Ten. Do you happen to have a Transformation?" Netami asks but Night doesn't answer. "That silence will get irritating. Lets get this party started." Netami says as he gets ready. Night charges at Netami and easily kicks his chest. Then she teleports behind him and sweep kicks him.

'She is tougher than that Ryuu kid all right' Netami thinks.

'So Ryuu IS dead...that must have been the energy i felt earlier.' Night says to herself. She appears behind Netami once he is up and sweep kicks him again. Night thinks this is the easiest fight of her life. She must still keep her energy low so nobody notices where she is.

"Netami Hebikage, I think that you are holding back in this fight." Night says.

"How do you know my name?"

"I've done my research on you. I thought it might come in handy, which it did."

"Where did you get information about me? No matter, its of no relevance to me." Netami says as he appears behind her and continuously tries to punch her; however, Night blocks them all. He tries to catch her off guard by throwing a knife at her but she ducks. "How do you know what im doing?!" Netami yells out in frustration.

"Because you're predictable, Mr. Hebikage and I stated earlier, I've done my research on you and ive found that if you die right now, I wont be killing the real Netami. So I knew you would hold back. I also watched you fight Ryuu and i know your methods of fighting." Night answers.

"I see, well i congratulate your intelligence but it wont do a thing for you if you win this battle. The Demon Ten can outsmart you. I am still curious about where you found this information."

"That is classified, only for me to know and you to keep asking."

"Ah. If i kill you i can search your brain for it."

"Perhaps, I highly doubt that you can manage to kill me anyway." Night says as she runs up to the top of a tree and a black aura surrounds her.

"What is this? A new move is it? Well lets send this to the headquarters." Netami says as he takes a photo of it using a special device. Suddenly a black ball of fire hurdles towards Netami, he barely dodges it. More fire balls come towards him but he avoids them all but then a white ball, twice the size of the black ones, is launched out and it hits Netami. The fire paralyzed him and he fell to the ground.

"You shouldn't let your guard down, even when taking a picture of my techniques." Night says as she jumps down.

"So you saw me do that. You were a better fight than i anticipated but that wont slow down the Demon Ten's plans.

"What are the plans?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." Netami says as he some how manages to draw his sword and swing it at Night. She avoids the hit and draws her own sword. They continuously try and cut each other but they block each others attacks. But eventually, Night catches Netami off guard and sends the sword through Netami's chest. Netami does the same but they both miss each other's heart by less than an inch.

"Good move but you missed." Night says,

"So did you." Netami replies. But as he laughs Night cuts Netami's sword in half. "Whoa. You are also strong but not as strong at me." He says as he cuts Nights sword down to the hilt. Night tosses the sword aside and shoots a beam of ice at Netami's hand and then kicks it to knock the sword away. She catches it and impales Netami right in his heart. "But, how did you....do that? I cant get injured!" Netami yells.

"I've never met somebody who can't get hurt." Night says as she pulls the sword out of him revealing that she poisoned the tip of the sword.

"When did you do that?" Netami says as his world starts to fade to black.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Night says as she smiles and Netami's head hits the ground.

Netami turns his head to one side and says, with his last words, "I will have my revenge. Don't ever...let you guard down..."

Night takes his headset and says, "Kai, This is Night. This Netami is dead" she throws it down and crushes it.

Kai starts to smile and walks towards the gate. 'This year is going to be fun.' he thinks as he walks out the gate and towards the area where Netami's body is.
